LMS Template 2019

A Brightspace or D2L template for the School of Business at Portland State. This template is used as a scaffolding to create fully online courses.

Benefits of this updated format:

• Dynamically linked dates and descriptions (if updated in one place, it appears everywhere)
• All content has independent settings (dates, release conditions, drag-and-drop organization)
• Student progress tracking per content piece (for students and instructors)
• Future proofing courses for LMS change

I co-created this template while working at the Office of Academic Innovation with instructional designer Misty Hamideh. The template was further refined for the School of Business while working at Online Business Education in collaboration with the operations manager, Lauren Greer, and images provided by Dylan Gansen.
